Motor Control Blocks combine DSP Motor control and Power Amplifier in a
compact package. Identified as Blocks because these units are used as
core elements in a motor control solution, whether it's a motor drive or
a servo amplifier.
The DPCore™ Motor Control Firmware utilised in the Power Blocks provides
digital generation and control of PWM, current loops, voltage,
temperature with host provided mode of operation and variable settings.
Interfacing to the user is through the DPCommTM serial interface and is
independent of power levels for a consistent interface. For experienced
control designers, utilising a DPB offloads the power control to the DPB
while still maintaining user ownership of the motor and motion control. |
