and supplied a large custom built X-Z
detector positioning system for the I24
Microfocus Macromolecular Crystallography (MX)
beamline at Diamond Light Source, the UK’s
national synchrotron science facility.
Medical Industry - Respiratory Cup Printer
A system was required to accurately print water levels and the customers’ logo
onto circular respiratory equipment using a Linux printer. The equipment was
used to aid in the breathing of patients under
anaesthetic.
Diamond Industry - Cutting Tool Analysis
The customer wanted a system that cut their diamonds, but also measured and
recorded the resistance on the blade, to obtain a higher degree of accuracy
whilst cutting.
Steel Industry - Laser Scanning System
The system had to incorporate a linear actuator (To carry a
low-power laser for the scanning), and a 3-axis of rotation system
to position and hold the sample piece in place.
