ISO recertification for LG Motion
LG Motion is delighted to announce the recertification of ISO 9001:2015 award for our Quality Management System (QMS) following a successful audit by TÜV UK Ltd.
The awarding of the three-year certificate affirms the company’s commitment to the design, manufacture, supply and installation of motion components and assemblies.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the additional challenge was to complete the entire audit process virtually – with our Managing Director, Gary Livingstone, and our Quality and Compliance Manager, Lisa Hollis, walking around the factory with a laptop showing the auditor the required information and processes. A first for us, but I’m sure not the last time web-based technology will be used for audits.
On successfully renewing the certification, Dr. Lisa Hollis, Quality & Compliance Manager, of LG Motion stated, “We are very happy with the renewal of the ISO 9001:2015 certification, which stands as a testament to quality and innovation that is at the core of our design and manufacturing.”
The ISO 9001:2015 is an international standard, which focuses on quality management principles including a risk-based process approach towards aligning the quality of products and services with the organisation’s business strategy, a strong focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
