What is an IP rating?
IP stands for Ingress Protection. It’s an international standard that indicates whether a device’s enclosure protects the internals from solid objects (like dust) and liquids (like water). Solids are rated from 0 to 6, and liquids are rated from 0 to 9. The higher the number, the better the protection
So what do this mean for Techman robots?
Since TM robots are rated IP65, this means they’re completely protected from solid objects such as dust and dirt, and protected from liquid splashes and jets – meaning they can be used for almost any project in any condition unless submerged in water!
