The XSlide™ assembly is an incredibly capable positioning slide for its size and price. Their simple design and versatility enables them to be used either singularly or in multi-axis assemblies. XSlide is manufactured from high grade aluminium alloy precision extrusion with low friction polymer bearings fitted to the slider for long service life, which are free from significant wear.

The design is based on the BiSlide assembly, incorporating the dovetail ways, cleat mounting, and the slide/bearing construction. The 45 degree opposing dovetail ways on the BiSlide and XSlide assemblies provide the highest rigidity for their size compared to other dovetail designs.

The XSlide has two unique adjustment features to increase life span. Both the carriage fit and the leadscrew/nut mesh adjustments are easily accessible from the sides. All fine tuning/wear compensation can be easily accomplished without removing a payload from the slide.

The XSlide is fully compatibility with NEMA size 17 or size 23 stepper motors, and is plug-and-run with the VXM stepping motor controller. In common with LG Motion products, XSlide is reliably serving science and industry in a wide range of applications throughout the World.
