Large scale art scanners

We engineer large format XYZ scanning systems for the precise imaging and analysis of fine art, heritage pieces, and museum collections.

These custom-built platforms integrate precision linear drives, rigid gantry structures, and software-controlled positioning — enabling ultra-high-resolution scanning across canvases, murals, and rare artefacts.

Used by worldwide conservation professionals, museums, and research institutions, our art scanners deliver stability and sub-millimetre accuracy over scan areas as large as several metres.

XYZ Scanning System: Low frequency ultrasound scanning tank

In collaboration with our partners, we developed a custom XYZ scanning system designed for low-frequency ultrasound imaging in aqueous environments. Built with corrosion-resistant materials and a stable motion gantry, the system provides repeatable 3D scanning within a large water tank.

  • Integrated with high-precision motor drives, the scanner supports:
  • Accurate 3D transducer positioning
  • Full X, Y, Z travel control
  • Software-defined scan paths and data collection synchronisation

This system is ideal for materials testing, academic research, and lab-based imaging where control and repeatability is critical.
